You are beginning a sport that offers a serious challenge, will significantly improve your health, provides a fantastic sense of achievement, lots of fun and alot of new freinds.
Our aim is to help guide you through the early stages, ensure that you enjoy our sport and do it safely.
Because Tri consists of three different sports it does demand a reasonably serious amount of training. You should probably be willing to commit to a minimum of 6 training sessions per week spread across the disciplines.
Having said that, if you're healthy and in moderate condition there is no reason why you cannot reach a level of fitness that will enable you to complete a Sprint Triathlon in arouns 9 - 10 weeks.
